Went to Court this morning.
Had to borrow Huda's jacket cos I couldn't find a decent one that is within my budget and comes with my size. Good thing I didn't buy this gorgeous one that I saw at Jurong Point cos Jila enlightened me. She said I should look around more for a better jacket. She's right. Glad I listened.
Anyway, my Legal Associate, who's also a lawyer, and I stayed no longer than 5mins in the Courtroom. It was in Chambers. Meaning it's just a small room. No such thing where you see in tvs with witness stands and photographers with a Judge in white wig.
So basically it's me, my LA, the opponent's solicitor and the Judge. Tension nak mampos. Can't stand the enclosed space. Good experience anyhow.
Before we entered the Sub Courts, there were alot of Malay teenagers at the entrance. I don't want to be putting down my own community but I can't help noticing that these teenagers are there because of the Juvenile Court. It irks me lah sey...
How are we gonna be ahead than the rest, (the Chinese namely), if we have our future like those malay delinquents having to pay Juvenile Court a visit now and then?
I don't know lah sey...
Then had lunch with that boy Yan, at Delifrance cos I wanted to try the new Black Pepper series. I had Black Pepper rice and that boy had Black Pepper Pasta. Man I'm so bloated.
Not because I ate alot but because I wanna shit.
Now.
Yes, right now.
