GREETINGS, MY LOVES.
It has been a while, hasn't it? I miss blogging and reading other people's blog, but lately, I haven't had the time to do either. So even if you gossip about me in your blog, I wouldn't know. Hurhur.
Let's see now, how long have I been away? A bit more than 3 months? Lama nyer nyaaarrr... A lot has happened in this short 3 months. Revelations and truths. All came tumbling one after another. Some shocking, a few saddening. Oh you know, Life's little surprises.
Anyway. I've been wanting to blog about this. A few days after Ramadhan, i.e. the few days of Hari Raya that followed, I heard a few 'ghost' stories from some people. When I hear them, I don't know if I should believe them or not. But I take it with a pinch of salt. I don't wanna see the ghosts, but I don't deny we're not the only ones living on Earth either.
So satu harini, my mum told me that my youngest brother Faiz was walking home in the wee hours of the morning at 4.50 a.m., after pulling an all-nighter konon-konon belajar untuk O-lecvels ah ni... So macam gini eh. He was walking home along this path that leads to our flat. Along the path, there's a hut and a sepak takraw court. So about 50m away from the hut, dia nampak macam "Eh apa tu? Ada orang pakai baju putih tengah duduk ni, dalam hut tu." I think he felt uneasy so he took a longer detour home and avoided that hut. When he got to a safe distance, he peeked back towards the hut and saw the EH SILA EH FATIMAH ROCKERS TU PUNYA RAMBUT MACAM TENGAH COVER AH MUKA DIA ALA-ALA SEGAN NAK TENGOK ORANG AH GITU. Macam anytime boleh flip abeh smile at my brother or something. He has never been more scared, I bet.
So my mum said this "Ohh... Nak dekat pukul 5 kan.. Dia tengah tunggu bas nak balik ah tuu..." Pasalkan witching hour ends at 5 a.m. EH MUMMY KATHY buat kelakar lah eh, tunggu bas.
So anyway, I'm a bit scared of that area after that. So much so that I make it a point to go home before 12 a.m. every Thursday night. But there's this one Thursday night where I had to stay back for work and it was 11.15 p.m. and I couldn't get the damn cab (this was before the cabfare surged sky-high and all cabs went into hiding from 11.15 p.m. onwards). And I mentioned in passing "Eh I don't wanna go home late today lehh..." and my Male Boss just HAD to go like "Whyy~ You scared of ghostsss is it... HAHAHA" and then sila tumpang lalu eh, saya terus nangis, tuan. Pasal I was imagining the Cik Puan Fatimah Rockers tengah duduk relek-relek tengah tunggu aku balik. And my MB got so surprised I cried, TERUS dia telephonekan Mercedes cab lah eh hurhur... Nasib baik gentleman.
Ok lah. I wanna go home. It's Friday and I'm going home. And I'll be home possibly tomorrow too. Kata loser. Eh, betul tak kawang-kawang? Hurhur.
