Do you guys miss me while I was away?

Miss right? Don't bluff. Because it's been 2 weeks since I've last blogged. Been busy, yo. And lazy.

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I went to my first dance class with Huda and her 2 other colleagues. Remember I was saying that I want to let my hair grow? Kata nak jadi pompuan joget kan? Tetapi nampak gaya ni, tak tercapai lah cita-cita aku. Eh please eh! I've got 2 left feet lah I swear. It was an Introductory class and I was already fumbling. My limbs were all over the place. Huda, on the other hand, did pretty good. You can't blame me, really. The only thing flexible about me are my ankles. And that's only because they're loose already, from wear and tear.

Abeh please eh~ Just after ONE class, I was feeling sore all over. Pantat sakit siak. Satu badan sengal-sengal macam nenek-nenek. Nak naik tangga pun susah nyaahh~ But I will not give up! I will keep on trying! But I'm not gonna try hip-hop dance. Maybe I'll do the salsa or something. Nak feeling-feeling senorita, macam my brother's girlfriend. Hurhur.

EH Ley!! KENAPER aku tak boleh upload the Raya pics ni nyah? Risau lah! Ok never mind. I'll figure it out soon enough.

There's only so many ways to spell HOT. And one of them is this -

W.E.N.T.W.O.R.T.H M.I.L.L.E.R

Hello the eyes... THE EYES!! So piercing and mesmerizing. It has to be the prominent browbones. I remember him in the first episode of Ghost Whisperer. He acted as some dead soldier. I remember him because of the eyes! So now if someone comes to me and says I have goldfish eyes or something something, I'll say 'thank you, you'll remember me then'.

I realise the older I get, the more tolerance I have for impossible people. I have more patience for people who gets on my nerves. My reasoning skills with myself is going on really well. I laugh it off, because every time I feel the beginning of an anger, I think of tissue uncle. I saw him again this morning after weeks of disappearance. Eh kesian lah, I don't think I can buy tissue from him anymore because everytime I do, I tear after walking away. I can see his days wasting away.

The other day, Huda and I checked out a dance studio just behind my office building. I got interested in the types of dance they offer and maybe... Just maybe, I'm finally gonna have one right foot and one left foot, instead two left ones. Hurhur...

Abeh kalau dah nak jadi pompuan joget ni, mesti kena rambut panjang, kan. Cos if you have long hair and you dance, you can action-action toss-toss fling-fling your hair and shake your booty ala-ala Beyonce. Cos short hair just won't do. Because really, you can hide how bad your dancing is just by tossing your hair. Just look at the minahs at 'em clubs. Hurhur...

So no more cutting of my hair. Next year, I will have long hair. I will say goodbye to my short hair that I-oh-so-adore. Then I can take revenge on all those long-haired people in the train who like to action toss their hair in my face. Eh gatal lah setann... Ingat tak pedih keper mata aku kena split ends kau?!

GEMS-Go the Extra Mile for Service

Too many times, I've read about and experienced bad service in Singapore. This is because, the people working in the service industry are Singaporeans, and I suppose Singaporeans do not relish the idea of serving another, hand and foot.

So it came as a surprise to Yan and I when we dined at Siam Kitchen Bugis Junction. If you want nice food and excellent service, this is the place to come.

We were greeted with a 'Sawadeekap' by the cute Supervisor who is this mat with jade necklace. Ah yang ini, aku recommend kan Eli. Pasal kau suka jade anything kan, Eli? Ah yang ini SESUAI untuk kau. Aku kasi, takper. Kawan punya pasal. Aku sanggup berkorban.

So Mat Jade went like "EH kau eh! Amacaaamm! Ok table for two eh?" to Yan. Once we were seated, he talked to Yan again. "Eh Yan, handsome kau sekarang eh... Baik? Kau buat apa sekarang?"

Yan: "Ah baik Alhamdulillah... Aku ada business sendiri ah... Kau dah lama keper kerja sini?" And so on and so forth... The normal questions you exchange when you bump into old friends.

A minute later, after Mat Jade left, Yan went like "Awin, for the life of me, I cannot remember who he is..." DUDE. Kau bebual dah macam members lama, abeh lepas tu tak ingat eh... Turns out it was his ex-schoolmate and Yan said that the guy looks different then. Gee, really ah Yan? I think we all looked different last time, you know, but the face can't really change much, unless of course if your name is Awin.

So we ate and when it was time for our babana fritters with ice-cream desert, the waitress served us the same but forgot our desert cutlery. She said she'll be right back with them. But seconds later, Izwan came with not only our desert forks, but our desert plates too. I mean, normally when we eat babana fritters with ice-cream, we're just given desert forks without the plates so 2 people have to share the big plate of desert, if you know what I mean. Izwan was very attentive and he saw to our needs without we having to ask.

And then , there's Tricia. I was coughing incessantly like a siao char bo lah, then suddenly, Tricia served me a glass of iced water! Hello macam magic lah seoul korea phuket thailand beijing china! *hurhur winks at Ley* I'm like, impressed lah balls... Bagus kan?

Suffice to say, we were very impressed with the staff's attention and efficiency. Sungguh handal. Ni baru good service, understand? And I guess, when the staff are impressive like such, it reflects very well on the Supervisor/Manager. So Eling, aku dah kata... Bagus kan Mat Jade ni, Eling? Nanti korang boleh pergi shopping for jade together-together then can exchange jade accessories all. Exciting kan, Ling?

And then we got some discount and a voucher... So siapa nak ikut aku makan kat Siam Kitchen Bugis ni, ANGKAT BULU KENING!!

P.S. Yes, it is babana, it is not a typo. Babana and conutnut and payaya, understand?
