There is nothing like a wonderful girlfriend to save you from the pits. In the end, Ley accompanied me Friday evening. And good thing too, or else I'd cry in the train on the way home.

Meet the new janitors of Scotts Shopping Centre. Janitor Jila, Janitor Awin and Janitor Eli. Janitor Awin and Eli mop. Janitor Jila angkat rubbish. We haven't gotten our uniforms yet.

Who caught Miss Singapore Universe last evening? And who wanted to die when contestant Jeanette Wee said that (sic) "I think Singapore youths are open-minded, therefore, it is perfectly FINE to do something like that" - when asked about her opinion on the recent uproar of the sex video taken by a Polytechnic student and posted on the Internet? Who wanted to die?! I did.

She said that on national TV in front of parents who have kids that are sexually active and she said it's FINE to post sex videos on the Internet? Is she crazy or plain stupid? As much as I understand that THAT is her opinion, we have to understand that Singapore is still rigid when it comes to taboo and sticky subjects as such. Nerves notwithstanding, it was still a bad answer. Other contestants answered well, I just don't understand how she can fumble.

Let's not even get me started on the over-lauded, supposedly smart PhD student.
