When Yan told me we'll be going to a jazz concert, I was quite excited cos I kinda like all that jazz.

But then yesterday, he mentioned in passing that it's some kinda japanese jazz band! Apa dia bang?? Hah band jazz jepong??

Err... Okayyyy...

I'm open to new experiences in music EXCEPT for trance or house or bangsa yang bunyinya ala-ala tiu-tiu-tiu macam bunyi tembak kat arcade.

So since this japanese jazz concert would be free, I shall just go and see how it goes.

Anyway, Saturday with the Bella belles and boys and Sunday with the rest of the amah pinoys was fun. Will post an update and pictures soonish.

In the meantime, I feel like an orphan you know. Both my bosses are away today and tomorrow. Wa tak aler gahmen leh.

Hari Raya Outing...

... Will not happen this year.

I have been wanting to tell the girls to let's just scrape Raya outing this year because of several reasons. Then Ley thought of the same too. But for me, these are the reasons why I think we should make do without it:

Reason #1:

Oddly, I am the go-to person for these kinda stuffs. But since I've been busy this year, there would be no calling calling and no planning planning eh, sorry.

Reason #2:

Even if I have the time to actually plan and call people, sometimes, some people don't bother replying or letting me know if they're coming. And I have to end up calling them again. Eh apa fikir aku takder kerja lain ke apa ni?? Handphone bill mahal siol kena calling calling. So relek sua ah eh.

Reason #3:

And then when they actually bother replying, their answer sometimes will sound like this: (ni classic punya eh mind you) "Haaa... Siapa-siapa lagi pergi?" EH APASAL KALAU GROUP YANG PERGI TAK HAPPENING, KIRA KAU TAKNAK DATANG AH NI??? Bapak kau lah.

Reason #4:

ANd if they don't ask who else is coming, then they will ask this: "Haaa aku rasa aku tak pergi ah pasal ______ tak pergi." Yes, it has happened many times before. Kalau members dia tak datang, dia pong malas nak datang. It would of course be appreciated if you had just called me and inform me instead of me having to call you. Relek sua eh Bedah. No more.

Kau tau siapa aku suka tak, kalau these kinda events occur? Aku suka orang-orang seperti siapa tau... Seperti Fazy and Zuhaila and Suhana cos they will always let me know their answers lincah punya. And they will always try to attend. Okay my girls tak payah terasa lah eh cos you always reply me anyway but ehem, you know who I'm talking about.

Reason #5:

It's the same old, same old. Jalan, makan. Jalan, makan. Naik bas, turun bas. Penat nyaaarr...

Reason #6:

Tak panas ke, pakai baju kurung abeh jalan-jalan?

So this year, there's a difference. We have decided to bring it outdoors!

Casual, gorgeous clothes and open space and let's just all hang out and enjoy each other's company!

We have a few things to do in mind. Here they are:

1) Main bowling ah seh. Aku dan Maz nak trash Ratna lagik ni. Hehe jangan marah eh Ratna love. Or a movie. And lunch or something.

2) Botanic Gardens. Kita join amah-amah lain yang sewaktu dengannya ataupong nak step ang moh duduk-duduk kat rumput and bawak picnic baskets and selimut. For those with kids i.e. Suhana and Suhailah, your kids can run around barefooted while the rest of us look on and clap. Hurhur...

3) Go to someone's house and watch DVDs and cook steamboat.

4) Go to someone's house and karaoke and cook steamboat.

5) (I just remembered about this) We can go to either Minds Cafe or Settlers to play games and eat cakes and drink smoothies. Boleh excited-excited and pekik-pekik macam perempuans kebrets. Amacam ok? Ni pong macam ok eh?

We are of course, open to suggestions. Please let me know. But, if the majority still thinks that the tradition of jalan raya should not be broken, then okay. Tapi part calling-calling tu, I don't know. I'll probably just gonna ask once and if there's no answer, I will not bother anymore. Please be alerted however that in future, you are probably not included in any of our outings anymore. Pasal kenapa? Pasal if you can't be bothered, I can't be bothered also.

This will happen this Sunday 19 October 2008. And oh. Tak payah bawak husbands and boyfriends and fiancees eh? Buat semak jer. Tak rimas ke nanti kena layan them then must layan the girls all... Have some thoughts for those of us who are single, macam yours truly ni *smiles at Yan*
